Megan MacKinnon is a third year law student originally from Toronto, Ontario. She is completing her JD at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University with a criminal law certificate. She hopes to ultimately establish a criminal defence law practice which is informed by Indigenous values, complex trauma and its affiliates, and the over-criminalization of Indigenous Persons in Canada.
